- Fishing boundaries are the Gulf of Mexico waters from Cedar Key to Boca Grande, as far west as you safely care to go. Including Tampa Bay
- All Captains fishing must pay, register, Friday, Oct.16, 2009, and sign an official entry form to be eligible for prizes and awards.
- One angler must hook, fight, and bring up to point of gaff.
- Hand held rods and reels only.
- No rotten or mutilated fish will be weighed in.
- In the event of a tie : tie breaker will be determined by first fish weighed.
- All fish must be of legal size per state and federal regulations.
- The honor system applies throughout the entire tournament.
- If there should be a dispute of any kind, the Rules and Regulations Committee and Weigh Master decision will be final.
- Any protest raised must be submitted in writing and accompanied with a 250.00 deposit.
- Fish may be brought by car to weigh in.
- All boats coming into the marina must obey the no wake zones, so please allow adequate time for last minute arrivals.
- All fish must be weighed in at THE HUT.
- The tournament encourages release of all fish not needed for tournament.
- Florida saltwater fishing license required except from a boat which has a valid recreational vessel saltwater fishing license or any FL. resident 65 years or older, or anyone excluded by FL. law. License not required when fishing with a charter captain.
- One fish per boat per division.
- No passing of anything between boats during the tournaments.
- Each angler will fish at their own risk. Officials and all persons connected directly or indirectly with the operation of the tournament shall be exempt from any liability for loss, damage, negligence, harm, or injury suffered to any participant, sport fisherman, their companions, boat captains, crew members, vessels, and equipment which may occur during the tournament.
